We, at Medallion, are excited to introduce one of our latest projects, an entirely new urban and rental community at Pat Bayly Square – “Vision”. Our stunning, ground-breaking and multi-faceted development is set to change the face of downtown Ajax, and will be the first community of its kind in the Region of Durham. Here are just a few of the many reasons why you will love living in downtown Ajax’s new urban community.
Architecture and Design
The contemporary and state-of-the-art construction of the Vision rental community is designed to complement and reflect on its neighbouring architecture, while seamlessly harmonizing with Pat Bayly Square. Our ultimate goal for Vision is to integrate the urban community with the surrounding neighbourhood, while accentuating all the best things about the Ajax area. We believe Vision is going to be a visual and architectural phenomenon, and now, you have the chance to live in the heart of all the beauty.
Interactive Amenities
There is no shortage of things to do at Vision. The community is brimming with several attractions and activities for the whole family, including a skating rink/reflective pool, water fountain displays, cultural artwork, multi-functional spaces for public gatherings, a multi-purpose stage, seating areas, landscaping, a civic building, and so much more. We made it our mission to create amenities that will entertain our residents and daily users all year round, and we believe there will truly be something for everyone.
Local Attractions
In addition to everything Pat Bayly Square and the Vision community will have to offer, there are many other things that make living in Downtown Ajax very appealing. Surrounding Vision, residents will have access to some of the best restaurants/cafes, community parks and nature trails in the Ajax area. So, whether you’re looking for an afternoon nature escape, or a delicious dinner out, Vision is right around the corner.
Central Location
Building on Pat Bayly Square, Vision is designed to be a prime community and tourist attraction in downtown Ajax. Like Nathan Phillips Square and Yonge and Dundas, we are aiming to create a meaningful destination point – with lasting social and economic development benefits – for all to enjoy. The first residential tower is nearing completion, and will consist of 25 storeys, 272 residential units, two floors of office space and ground-level commercial. We are now working on the second tower at Pat Bayly Square, which is set to be completed in 2018.
Educational Venues
Pat Bayly Square – named after the first mayor of Ajax – is going to be a central, and educational gathering space that connects the residential Vision buildings. The square is also designed to host community functions, cultural activities and be a place to display artwork that celebrates Ajax’s culture and community.
We are dedicated and thrilled to make this project of ours a reality, and will be regularly updating the town and community based on our progress. Please visit our website to learn more about Vision and Medallion. We hope you are as excited about our Vision as we are.
