Debbie’s Boutique Café (94 Harwood Ave. S.)
As trendy as it is delicious, Debbie’s Boutique Café is a European-style coffee shop that serves organic coffees, loose leaf teas, specialty desserts, sandwiches and gluten-free options. In their words, they expect you to sit down and stay a while – bring a good book, or good company, and take a break from the outside world. However, if you can’t make it to their shop, they also offer catering services for private and corporate events.
Hollywood Donuts (15 Westney Rd. N.)
Craving a coffee and maybe a little something sweet? Then Hollywood Donuts may be the perfect place for you. Their staff is always inviting and everything (coffee, donuts, sandwiches, and more!) is made fresh daily. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fresh donut and cup of coffee – it’s one of Ajax’s best kept secrets.
Coffee Culture (60 Salem Rd. S.)
This place is really trying to reverse the modern-day “grab and go” coffee trend. Coffee Culture’s mantra is “come for the coffee, stay for the visit” and they truly stand by it. They are as passionate about their desserts, sandwiches and wraps as they are their delicious coffees, espressos and lattes, and they also have a selection of “late-night desserts” that are perfect for the not-so-early risers!
Jazzberry Café (109 Old Kingston Rd. #7)
This is not your average “tea house”, it also serves some of the best coffee in Ajax. Jazzberry Café is known for its charming environment, and it has everything to do with their Victorian-style ambiance. In addition to their famous hot beverages, they also have sandwiches, salads, wraps, cold beverages and many different desserts. It’s an easy choice with this one!
Choko Mocko Family Bakeshop
If the name of this café doesn’t make you smile, their coffee definitely will. Choko Mocko is a 100% natural health store, bakery and restaurant, that serves only vegan, gluten, corn, soy, dairy and sugar free foods and drinks. They are passionate about what they do, and make every drink and dessert with only the best ingredients around!
