Hi, I’m Rosie and today, Adam and I took a big step in our search for a place to call home. We visited Vision at Pat Bayly Square in Ajax, and let me tell you, the second we stepped inside, it felt like the kind of place where our life together could really unfold.
We had two suites to tour: a cozy One Bedroom + Den, and a more spacious Two Bedroom, Two Bath. Here’s what it felt like to walk through each and imagine our future in them.
First Stop: One Bedroom + Den – 621 Sq. Ft. of Smart, Stylish Living
As soon as we walked in, I noticed how bright and open the space felt. The open-concept layout draws you straight into the living and dining area, with the kitchen tucked neatly to the side. I could already see Adam and I making dinner together here, he’s the chef, I’m the enthusiastic taste-tester. The kitchen had everything we’d need, with a smart layout that keeps it connected to the rest of the space, not hidden away.
The dining nook was the perfect size for our little bistro-style table, and I imagined candles, wine glasses, and the quiet hum of weekend dinners just for two.
Then the den caught my eye. It’s not huge, but it’s flexible and that’s what I love. I pictured a desk to the side, some bookshelves, maybe even a daybed for the occasional overnight guest. It could be my home office, or a quiet reading space. Or both!
The bedroom was simple and serene, and the walk-in closet? An absolute dream. For someone who loves fashion and storage baskets, this was a win. The bathroom was just off the hall, modern, clean, and spacious enough for the two of us to share without elbowing for sink space every morning.
I looked at Adam, and he smiled. “It just feels good in here,” he said. And I had to agree.
Second Suite: Two Bedroom, Two Bath – 903 Sq. Ft. of Room to Grow
Then we stepped into the second suite, and… wow.
The open-concept living/dining area was noticeably larger, stretching across the length of the suite with big windows welcoming in natural light. I imagined our sofa against the far wall, a cozy rug beneath our feet, and a big dining table right by the kitchen, ready for dinner parties, game nights, and quiet Sunday breakfasts.
The kitchen was open and inviting, with a full view of the entire space. It felt like the kind of layout that would make everyone want to hang out while dinner was cooking.
The second bedroom immediately got me thinking, it could be a guest room, an office, or… maybe one day, something more. It’s nice to have the option to grow into a space, you know?
And the primary bedroom? Pure bliss. It was tucked at the end of the hall for privacy, with its own ensuite bath and a walk-in closet that was somehow even bigger than the first suite’s. I could picture my Sunday morning routine already, yoga, coffee, sunlight, and zero clutter.
Having two full bathrooms is something I didn’t realise I needed until I saw it. It just adds a layer of ease, no more negotiating mirror time before work!
A Choice Between Comfort and Future-Ready
As we wrapped up the tour, Adam and I stood outside Vision Tower 4, mentally walking through both layouts again. The One Bedroom + Den felt clever and cozy, just right for the way we live now. But the Two Bedroom, Two Bath felt like it could take us into the next chapter.
Whichever we choose, Vision feels like the kind of community where our life could truly take shape.
