The Night Garden: An Illuminating Experience
Experience an enchanting evening at the Whistling Gardens Festival of Fountains – The Night Garden event. Immerse yourself in a captivating blend of water, light and sound that transforms the garden into a magical wonderland. More than 100 fountains will be illuminated for this 57-minute theatrical fountain experience. After exploring the garden in all its glory indulge in some of the delectable food and beverages available on site, whilst enjoying the live entertainment. Get into the Halloween Spirit at Fear Farm
For those seeking something a little spooky this fall, a visit to the Fear Farm is a must. Six haunted attractions await to test your courage and, more likely, send shivers down your spine. From a pitch-black corn maze to a haunted hayride, you’ll get your fill of all things spooky. After a night of scares, unwind at the food and beer garden as you recount the horrors of the evening. Opening on 30 September, Fear Farm is an unmissable fall attraction.
AGH Festival
Fall is the perfect time to explore Hamilton’s art galleries as the Art Gallery of Hamilton (AGH) Festival brings new and exciting exhibitions to the city. The ten day festival celebrates all forms of art, hosting concerts, workshops, screenings and other events at various locations throughout the city. Head to the opening night dance party on 13 October, attend the Family Fun Day on 15 October or learn a new skill with weaving, hip-hop and screen printing classes on various dates. Run for a Cause
With mild temperatures and crisp air, fall is the perfect time to get running, walking or wheeling for a cause. Participate in the inclusive Wellwood Walk / Run / Wheel this fall at McMaster University. With a 1km option for kids and a 5km option for adults and youth – plus the option to run, walk or wheel – everyone is able to join in. The Great Pumpkin Trail
You can’t experience fall without a pumpkin or two being involved. The Royal Botanical Gardens are once again hosting the Great Pumpkin Trail on the last two weekends of October in Hamilton. Stroll through the enchanting gardens and delight in the sight of creatively carved pumpkins illuminating your path, creating a magical ambiance for all to enjoy.
