2017 is behind us, and with 2018 off to a great start, Medallion has big plans for another successful year, full of community involvement, new developments, and the perfect team to make it all happen. Here is a closer look at what’s in store for Medallion this year.
Developments for 2018
Medallion is committed to providing quality apartments that improve your lifestyle, so it should come as no surprise that this year has started off with devoting time towards two major projects: Vision at Pat Bayly Square and Casa. Here is a more detailed look at where these buildings are in their development.
Vision at Pat Bayly Square: This apartment building, located at Harwood Avenue South, is the prime example of urban living at its best, and is currently in Phase II. With easy access to downtown Ajax residents will enjoy the simplicity of stepping out their door and having access to city transit, cycling routes, and pedestrian amenities. The building will also provide retail and commercial space, surrounding a prominent civic square.
Casa: Currently in Phase II, Casa is Medallion’s visionary approach to urban revitalization. This new build is located on the corner of Finch Avenue West and Weston Road, making it the ideal location for modern, urban living. The building will be located right on existing TTC routes, as well as the new Etobicoke-Finch West Line, which will provide direct service to Humber College. Casa promises to be the driving force behind the revitalization of this ideally located neighbourhood, and one of the many quality apartment buildings Medallion is proud to provide for the GTA.
Community Involvement
Medallion Corporation is a proud member of the GTA community, and is very involved in making Toronto and area communities come closer together. Every year, the team and many residents of the buildings participate in volunteer activities, and give back to their local communities. Here are just a few examples of how Medallion is getting involved in the community this year:
Minor Hockey Teams: Medallion is a proud sponsor of local hockey teams, through promoting grassroots hockey in the community.
St. James Community Centre: Medallion is a contributor for after school and summer programs offered at the centre.
Residents’ BBQ: Every summer, Medallion hosts a large scale BBQ for all of their residents. The event features animals, a petting zoo, musicians, tattoo artists, and bouncy castles, and is a perfect example of how Medallion brings the community together.
Future Locations
2018 is bringing big plans for Medallion, including some new locations. To provide more quality housing options for the residents of the GTA, the new year will bring exciting projects to Hamilton, Oshawa, the GTA, and London area, all of which will feature the fine quality that makes Medallion the perfect rental company for your lifestyle.
